Newark Now is a client that is fueled by its sole purpose to empower the residents of Newark. Not only is their mission a driving force for the change happening in Newark, but they set out to stimulate their ideas through design. The ability to go above and beyond on their events, and challenge the idea of a non-profit being simply cool. Modia Butler, President & CEO was unanimously chosen to be the Housing Authority Chairman and a shout out is in order for him. Congratulations on a day that was important for the City, Newark Now, & the residents.

Last night's award ceremony was filled with people from grassroots organizations to corporate heads. The mixture of people coming together marked this ceremony as the best ever! Mayor Cory Booker came out to support & Modia Butler set the stage for a very organized event, and the mc Anthony Welch; newly appointed Executive Director. We want to congratulate the award winners for their support in the City of Newark. Daneka Clairborne, Latrice Smith, Dennis Porter, Pastor Renato Bernardes, Casto Maldonado, & SBLI Life Insurance were the award recipients. We want to say thank you to Newark Now for letting us partake in the ceremony and help create the visuals that this program is all about. Design impacts everyone on a daily bases, but when design expresses passion and represents change, there is no limit to its strength.
