Lincoln Park Music Festival - Press Conference

This past Thursday, the Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District hosted a Press Conference on their 2nd Annual Music Festival. Special Guests included, Mayor Cory Booker, Nina Mitchell Wells- NJ Secretary of State, John S. Watson Jr. - Deputy Commissioner Department of Environmental Protection, Joyce Wilson Harley - Essex County Administrator, Lata Reddy - VP Prudential Foundation, Modia J. Butler - President Newark Now and many many more. This weekend is jam packed with amazing artists spanning 4 different genres of music: Jazz, Gospel, House & Hip-Hop. Hairspray Movie Premiere in Newark!

Last night was the "Huge" Newark Premiere of Hairspray at NJPAC, a first of its kind in the city. It was great to see the amount of people that made it out to this great event. Shout out to Alyson Nash from Zing Marketing for pulling this thing together.

A Fresh Peek - Tritonic | New York

Very soon, the doors at Tritonic in New York will open and be a portal to our main studio in Newark. A fresh peek gives you a sense of the atmosphere at the new studio, an inside approach towards... heck its just a picture of doors. We will keep you posted as things progress, and look in the near future of our updated site (long over due) to see the digs in Newark.

Atlar Park Commercial - Production

We were asked by the Shops at Atlas Park to be involved in creative direction on their :30 commercial. Here are some shots we took of the production and crew on set. It'll be airing on TimeWarner cable in the NewYork Metro area starting in August. We'll post the commercial once it is finalized.

89 James Street Summer Oasis

This past Friday, Newark Now threw a Grand Opening Party for their office at 89 James Street. They simply called it the Summer Oasis, and it ended up being just that. An Oasis in the middle of Newark... We had a blast and partied our tail off until the DJ couldn't spin any longer. Big up to everyone at Newark Now for putting together such a great event.

Super Summer Initiative 2007

Newark Now and the City of Newark have launched the 2007 Super Summer Initiative. This program is all about engaging as many people as possible in positive summer activities and connecting as many people as possible to useful resources. Some key elements of the campaign include:

* Connecting youth and families to neighborhood and city-wide family-friendly events

* Connecting youth to program slots at summer camps and other locations

* Helping families register for key resources

* Community Patrols to enhance safety in Newark neighborhoods
